It’s unfortunate that the Google Analytics addon wasn’t fixed in this update. We haven’t been able to track ecommerce transactions for weeks wasting a lot of advertising dollars!

      Hello Brandon,

Unfortunately we were unable to fix it. But I can assure you that we performed a very deep examination of this problem. And here is the result: Universal analytics does not support this feature (whereas it worked fine in Classic analytics). We are working hard on finding a workaround to this problem.

Thank you very much for your help. We will do our best to include the fix in the next release.

What? Universal analytics DOES support ecommerce tracking! I have other clients that use it just fine with other platforms. So I’m not sure what you’re referring to. And this should have been tested before forcing everyone to use Universal Analytics.

      Dear Brandon,

You are right, Universal analytics supports e-commerce transactions. I talked about the traffic source and other properties of a visitor in e-commerce transactions. Here is the discussion in google groups

Let me assure you that we understand the importance of this issue and are working on it. We will post the result immediately to your bug report on the forum and include the fix in the next release.

Actually, that google groups thread is not referring to the fact that this information is not available … it simply says that it’s now available server side instead of client side.
